Mission & Values

North SThe NSR compasstar Reach offers life-changing camp experiences for children with serious health challenges and their families, free of charge.

The use of a compass for navigation can be traced back to the 11th century. It was used to determine orientation showing direction relative to the geographic cardinal directions or “points” of north, south, east and west. In other words, it was a guide to help set course for a journey. Using this as a metaphor, we have chosen these points as our compass rose keeping the journey of CAMPERS, DONORS, VOLUNTEERS and STAFF aligned with our mission and focused on the magical transforming fun that is our destination.

 OUR GUIDING VALUES:

1. Kids and families first
