Items to Donate
Gifts in kind are welcome! Below are items that would be most helpful in maintaining the camp and preparing for operations.
For campers and staff:
- Sleeping bags – can be new or gently used
- Gas cards
- Arts and Crafts supplies
- Outdoor recreation equipment – Baggo, footballs, Frisbees, insect collection nets, soccer balls, kick balls
- Costume clothing
- Two-way radios for staff communication
For maintenance of facilities at camp:
- Rakes
- Shovels
- Pruners
- Painting supplies
- Weed whips
- Chainsaw
- Home Depot or Lowes gift cards
Kitchen needs (commercial sized kitchen equipment):
- 2-3 hotel serving pans
- 3-4 large sized pots
- Commercial sized serving spoons
- Kitchen utensils and chafing dishes
- 5-gallon Igloo beverage coolers
Equipment donations (new or near new condition):
- 24 foot (or larger) pontoon boat
- Aluminum dock
- Gas powered Golf Cart
- Gator, RTV or similar utility vehicle ($7,500)
- Zero turn or large landscape mower
- Tractor/Loader/Backhoe
- Utility pickup truck
Structure donation:
- Yurt – $7,000 is still needed for this building that will house the Arts and Crafts program at the new camp. This will be a permanent structure.
